Each Bun NFT now features unique abilities and powers, lovingly crafted in partnership between “The Buns” community and the “Gladiator” development team. The heart of “The Buns” lies in its thriving community, where every NFT holder gains full intellectual property rights to their individual Buns. This commitment to community and creativity aligns seamlessly with Gladiator’s mission to foster collaboration and innovation within the Web3 space. Gameplay Design and Abilities
The card abilities and designs for The Buns were created with input from folks in the community. The icons, ability names and styles capture the collection’s charm and creativity, adding a distinct personality to each character’s role during battle. Each ability showcases creative improvisation based on collectible traits seen on the NFTs.
Mobile Friendly and Web 2 Support
Originally, Gladiator was designed primarily for tablet and laptop users, with gameplay limited to NFT enthusiasts who could connect their wallets. However, based on community feedback, the development team expanded the game’s accessibility by adding mobile support and introducing email sign-ups. Now, players can enjoy Gladiator without needing to connect a wallet, making it safer for those who want to protect their Web3 assets. This update also opens the door for Web2 players to experience the game without owning tokens while creating unique perks for token holders!
Community Art and Contributions
Beyond testing the game and providing feedback, we had amazing art contributions from folks in the community. Gladiator themed graphics and animations were crafted bolstering excitement as The Buns joined Gladiator!
In-Game Wearables
With every collection, it’s our goal to craft all kinds of in-game items with feedback from the community. Below is a screenshot while testing and creating “Whispering Vanguard” in Photoshop, a another fabulous contribution from the community. Players can earn in-game currency or crypto to purchase this item and enhance gameplay!
